Mindfulness and Breathwork

Mindfulness is awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgementally.” Jon Kabat-Zinn

As a qualified mindfulness and breathwork coach I integrate the benefits of these practices into my one-to-one therapy sessions, and also offer six week courses and one day workshops to groups and organisations. Alongside the benefits of talking therapy and EMDR the regular practice of mindfulness and breathwork can further support mind body integration and healing.

Mindfulness and breathwork practice can correct breathing dysfunction, quieten a busy, overthinking mind, increase focus, concentration and energy, and improve HRV (heart rate variability), sleep and digestion.

These practices are essential skills to support emotion regulation and a healthy, flexible nervous system. Regular practice can improve issues such as anxiety, anger, depression, impulsivity and overthinking.
