Counselling

People seek counselling to help them resolve emotional, psychological and relationship issues. You may be experiencing a difficult or distressing event in your life, such as bereavement, divorce, redundancy, or health issue, or you may have more chronic feelings of stress, anxiety or depression. Alternatively, you may wish to simply explore and develop confidence, self-esteem and a sense of identity.

Counselling can help you to identify and express your feelings, think about your choices and behaviours and bring about positive change in your life.

Sometimes we feel isolated and have no one else to talk to, or even with a supportive family and friends it can be difficult to talk about feeling anxious or depressed. It may be easier to talk about personal, family or relationship issues with an independent and professional therapist like me. I integrate talking therapy with creative methods (such as sand tray, images and symbols, writing and art) alongside mindfulness and breathwork to further support mind body integration and healing.

I offer a safe, comfortable, confidential space for you to explore feelings and address any issues that are affecting your overall well being, accepting you for who you are without judgement or criticism. Together we will uncover your own inner resources, wisdom and strength which will help you to find the answers you seek, gaining clarity and personal insight.

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” Carl Rogers.
